God Skates
This weekend I grabbed my camera and headed over to a local park in the beach town of Melbourne, Fl. It was a rainy day and the fact that The Park is indoors is more than sweet. Built by Team Pain, maker of every park I ever go to these days, it was very well constructed for the limited space. There's a cute little bowl shoved in a room with low ceilings, but the spots where you're likely to pull something big and need more room, i.e. hips and vert wall, are stuck right between the low rafters.
The street area consisted of a flow area that crossed a number of boxes, ledges and handrails. No problems with speed since the park is pretty tight. The only weird part would be a banked wall kinda shoved between the bowl and the flow area. It's pretty much unutilized by the 20 little doods that were resting on it.
In case you're wondering, the God Skates thing is because the park is affiliated with Christianity. If that's your jam, those are your people. If not, they didn't shove it in my face and of course in this life and this country, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
